This interactive work reflects on the conditions under which visibility is constructed and regulated. Two women appear within monochrome frames shaped by tradition, silence, and imposed expectations. Positioned inside structures that seem natural yet remain enforced, their presence reveals the tension between collective norms and individual agency.

The image does not remain fixed. Through the engagement of the audience, what appears restrained begins to shift; muted dimensions regain intensity and imposed boundaries are questioned. The work examines how silence and normalization sustain systems of control, particularly within sociopolitical contexts where women’s choices are limited.

Rooted in personal experience, Reaction operates as both metaphor and invitation. By implicating the viewer, it challenges passivity and gestures toward the possibility that even a single response can unsettle what appears immovable. The piece ultimately reflects on responsibility, participation, and the fragile moment in which collective presence can initiate change.
