Raum linksrechts is an independent art gallery in the Gängeviertel Hamburg. Known for its black and white rooms, the space encourages artists to explore contrasts and perception. The Gängeviertel was occupied on August 22, 2009, saving it from demolition. Since then it has become a place for living, art, culture and social engagement in the heart of Hamburg
Melanie Klapper-Türk is a designer and curator dedicated to supporting contemporary art in Hamburg. Since 2009, she has been the driving force behind Raum linksrechts. The gallery, known for its contrasting black and white rooms, provides a platform for emerging artists and interdisciplinary projects.
Melanie’s curatorial work focuses on socially engaged and critical art, creating a space for dialogue and experimentation beyond traditional exhibition formats.
