„On the Move“,2025 – Vaira Janz What we hear is more than just sound. It is languages, rhythms, songs – lived memories, interwoven identities, the invisible pulse of cultures. Using the technique of cymatics, translates sound waves into visible patterns, audio recordings from different cultures are transformed into visual forms. Every sound, every word, every song leaves a trace – a pattern, shaped by the language of vibration. The resulting images are more than aesthetics: They are testimonies to cultural expressiveness, evidence of diversity – and at the same time of solidarity. Because although the patterns are different, they all arise from the same Español „En movimiento“ Lo que oímos es algo más que sonido. Son lenguas, ritmos, canciones: recuerdos vividos, identidades entrelazadas, el pulso invisible de las culturas. Utilizando la técnica de la cimática, traduce las ondas sonoras en patrones visibles, grabaciones de audio de diferentes culturas se transforman en formas visuales. Cada sonido, cada palabra, cada canción deja un rastro, un patrón, moldeado por el lenguaje de la vibración. Las imágenes resultantes son algo más que estética: Son testimonios de la expresividad cultural, pruebas de la diversidad y, al mismo tiempo, de la solidaridad. Porque aunque los patrones son diferentes, todos surgen del mismo

Vaira Janz ist eine in Indien geborene und in Deutschland aufgewachsene Künstlerin. Sie wurde in Indien geboren und wuchs in Deutschland auf. Ihr ganzes Leben lang faszinierten sie verschiedene Kulturen und inspirierten sie zur Kunst. In ihren neuesten Arbeiten versuchte sie, die Essenz verschiedener Subkulturen einzufangen. Vaira Janz setzt sich mit der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikationen auseinander. 

Vaira Janz is an artist who was born in India and grew up in Germany. She was born in India and grew up in Germany. Mit der Technik der Kymatik, visualisiet sie Stimmen und Klänge. Mit dieser Methode erforscht die Künstlerin  welche Auswirkungen das gesagte oder getane hat. Mit der Technik der Kymatik erforscht sie die Umgebung durch Sound und möchte etwas auffangen, was sonst nicht sichtbar ist. Ich möchte herausfinden was ausserhalb des sprachlichen Inhalts noch in der verbalen Kommunikation steckt und wie diese ihre Umgebung beeinflusst. Mit dieser Technik möchte sie eine Brücke zwischen Wissenschaft und Kunst schaffen und zeigen wie diese Verbunden werden können um etwas zu zeigen was sonst im Verborgenen bleibt.

With this technique she wants to create a bridge between science and art and show how they can be connected to reveal something that would otherwise remain hidden.
