En los últimos dos años cero uno se ha acercado a IRCA Casa Abierta que es una organización sin fines de lucro,concentrada en mejorar las oportunidades de desarrollo y la calidad de vida de las poblaciones LGBTIQ, que se encuentran en migración forzada y en busca de refugio dentro del área centroamericana.
La migración de los animales la aceptamos como algo natural y hermoso. ¿Pero cómo percibimos la migración de los humanos?
Y sí profundizamos aún más, ¿cómo percibimos la migración de las personas obligadas a huír de su país debido a su identidad?
Mi propuesta se trata de una puesta en escena de corte experimental y perfórmica.
No se limita a un texto preestablecido sino más bien a una improvisación como dialogo central. Los relatos que escuchamos son de la vida real, contada no por actores sino más bien por las personas que viven diariamente con doble discriminación, por ser inmigrantes y por ser miembros de la comunidad LGTBIQ+.
Se usa el tatuaje de una mariposa monarca como vehículo conductor.

In the last two years cero uno has approached IRCA Casa Abierta, a non-profit organization, focused on improving the development opportunities and quality of life of LGBTIQ populations, forced to migration and in search of refuge within the Central American area.
We accept animal migration as something natural and beautiful, but how do we perceive human migration? And if we go even deeper, how do we perceive the migration of people forced to flee their country because of their identity?
My proposal is an experimental and performic staging.
It is not limited to a pre-established text but rather to an improvisation as a central dialogue. The stories we hear are from real life, told not by actors but rather by people who live daily with double discrimination, for being immigrants and for being members of the LGTBIQ+ community.
The tattoo of a monarch butterfly is used as the driving vehicle.

Alejandro Ramírez Salas ( San José, 1978).
Fundador de cero uno, un espacio independiente de artistas para artistas en San José, actualmente se dedica a acompañar artistas en procesos creativos. Ha expuesto de forma individual en Casa de América, Spazio Davar, entre otros. Su obra ha sido expuesta en la Bienal de La Habana, La XXXI Bienal de Pontevedra, L. A. freewaves MOCA y en varias ediciones de la Bienal Centroamericana, el Festival de Performance en la Galería Cívica de Arte en Trento y en el Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque. Fue residente en Casa de Velázquez. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido con el Premio Unión Latina a la Creación, Madrid, España. Fue el único premio en América Latina. Primer Premio del Concurso Centroamericano de Artistas Emergentes MADC entre otros premios.

Alejandro Ramírez Salas ( San José, 1978)
Founder of cero uno, an independent space of artists for artists in San José, he is currently dedicated to accompany artists in creative processes.
He has had solo exhibitions at Casa de América, Spazio Davar, among others. His work has been exhibited at the Havana Biennial, the XXXI Biennial of Pontevedra, L. A. Freewaves MOCA and in several editions of the Central American Biennial, the Performance Festival at the Civic Art Gallery in Trento and at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque. He was resident at Casa de Velázquez. His work has been recognized with the Premio Unión Latina a la Creación, Madrid, Spain. He was the only award for Latin America. First Prize in the Central American Emerging Artists Contest MADC among other awards.
