Bueno yo hace muchos años que empecé haciendo esparteñas, pues me gusta mucho la artesanía. Son muy laboriosas, ya que hay que empezar cortando hojas de piteras luego hay que rallarlas, para sacarles la fibra, enrollarlas para hacer cordón y finalmente montarlas. En las fotos adjuntas pueden ver el proceso de elaboración.
„Well, I started making espadrilles many years ago because I really enjoy craftsmanship. They are very labor-intensive, as you have to start by cutting leaves from agave plants, then you have to grate them to extract the fiber, roll them to make the cord, and finally assemble them. In the attached photos, you can see the manufacturing process.“
